Hair removal have become one of the essential beauty routine as of recent. Not only does it aid personal hygiene,it also boosts our self confidence. Case in point: you are wearing a sleeveless top and you want to raise your arms bur suddenly remember that you have bushy underarms😬 or the time comes when you have to strip in front of an audience and realize that neither are your legs shaved nor your privates.
This can be so embarrassing but also not good for the health. Studies have proven that a strand of body hair contains thousands of bacteria. So imagine when you grow them out the amount of bacteria seeking refuge in you.
Since we have established that it is essential to get rid of body hair,its now time to determine which method works best.
* Shaving stick
This is the oldest form of hair removal,the cheapest which also makes it the most common. It is very cheap but very time consuming. This method leaves so many stones unturned. Not only do you have to suffer from ingrown hairs,bumps and itchiness,it does not last. You can only remain clean and shaven for a week or so then the hair starts growing back.
* Hair removal cream
This is a more advanced method of hair removal and it has its pecks. Very easy and simple,does not take up much of your time and also effective in that you can remain smooth and shaven for almost three weeks. Though it is a bit expensive,the results are remarkable. You can say goodbye to bumps,itchiness and dry skin. But the con of this method is that harsh chemicals are used in producing them and can leave dark patches of skin in the areas you apply them thereby leaving dark underarms and privates in their wake.
* Waxing
This is the process of removing hair from a part of the body using wax. It is probably the most efficient and long lasting albeit painful. It requires special care and attention.
This method can last for a month or more than but very expensive as it requires the services of a professional. Waxing can also be done by oneself at home but requires extreme care and precaution so as to not injure or inflame the delicate skin on our body.
